1、Mold issues

2、Safety issues

There are also some problems and disadvantages in the drawing processing. It is mainly reflected in the two public hazards of noise and vibration generated during the drawing processing, and the safety accidents of operators often occur. 3、High-strength steel stamping

Today, high-strength steel and ultra-high-strength steel have well achieved the light weight of vehicles, improving the collision strength and safety performance of vehicles, and thus have become an important development direction of automotive steel. However, with the improvement of the strength of the plate, the traditional cold stamping process is prone to cracking during the forming process, and can not meet the processing technology requirements of high-strength steel plates. In the case of not meeting the forming conditions, the international community has gradually studied the hot stamping forming technology of ultra-skeleton steel plates. This technology is a new process that comprehensively considers the forming, heat transfer and phase transformation of the organization. It mainly uses the characteristics that the plasticity of the plate increases and the yield strength decreases in the high-temperature austenite state, and the forming process is carried out through the mold. However, hot forming requires in-depth research on process conditions, metal phase transformation, and CAE analysis technology. At present, this technology is monopolized by foreign manufacturers, and domestic development is slow.

Solution

In the past, when producing deep drawn or heavy drawn parts, everyone thought that EP lubricating oil was the best choice to protect the mold. It has a long history that硫 and氨EP additives were mixed into pure oil to improve the life of the mold. However, with the emergence of new metals-high strength steel, the strict requirements for environmental protection, the value of EP oil-based lubricants has been reduced, and even lost the market.

Forming of high strength steel at high temperatures, the EP oil-based lubricant loses its performance and is unable to provide the necessary physical mold protection barrier in extreme temperature applications. However, IRMCO's high solid polymer lubricants for extreme temperatures can provide the necessary protection. As the metal deforms in the stamping die, the temperature continues to rise, and the EP oil-based lubricant thins, in some cases reaching the flash point or burning (smoking). IRMCO's water-based stamping lubricants, on the other hand, generally have a much lower consistency when they start spraying on. As the temperature rises during the forming process, they become thicker and more tenacious. In fact, high molecular weight polymer extreme temperature lubricants all have "heat-seeking" and adhere to the metal, forming a barrier that reduces friction. This protective barrier allows the workpiece to deform without breaking or sticking together, controlling friction and metal flow. This effectively protects the mold, extends the life of the mold, and improves the strength of the stamping.
